Overview

MASSAGE ENVY SOUTH PORTLAND (MAINE) is hiring Massage Therapists – FULL TIME 25+ HOURS PER WEEK or PART TIME less than 25 HOURS PER WEEK.

Earn between $50,000 to $80,000 + for experienced and dependent on the amount of full time hours worked.

$50,000 GUARANTEED FIRST YEAR INCOME new grads at 27 hrs hands on time!  The “YEAR” will start when you are ready to work 27 hours per week, allowing time to gain the ability to work at that level.  We build-in 15 minute breaks between sessions during the initial acclimation process.

Massage Envy therapists establish their own schedule for each quarter of the year, including as many breaks as they need.

Hourly wage is based on the therapist’ experience and can earn $4 to $6 extra per hour for added enhancements.  Each therapist offers the modalities he/she is trained to provide and is comfortable performing.

Receive high gratuities because we manage the process.

We provide Performance-based Quarterly Raises, earn up to $2. more per hour per year

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Maine Massage Therapy License (Required)

Ability to Commute to South Portland, Maine.

GENERAL

Massage Envy is a therapeutic massage clinic located in South Portland. Massage Envy is also the nation’s #1 provider of skin care services.

Our membership program brings approximately 1,100 regular clients in for services an average of once a month. This keeps us busy all the time. Unlike many other Maine businesses, we are not the slightest bit seasonal. Our therapists therefore enjoy a steady income making it easier to manage their regular expenses.

Massage Envy does a great deal of advertising, so therapist do not need to do any personal marketing in order to be a busy as they wish. Therapists also do not pay for any operating expenses.

Our massage therapists establish their own schedule and can operate a private practice in addition to working with us.

The massage therapist responsibilities are to provide the massages and Therapeutic Stretch and to perform treatment room maintenance.

We have other employees who take care of all aspects of the operations

We are open Monday through Friday 8AM to 8PM and Saturday and Sunday 9AM to 7PM.

Therapists receive a free massage every week they perform 22 or more massage hours.

Access to Group Health and Dental Insurance available to full-timers (25 hours/week).  Company pays ½ the cost of Health Insurance.

All employees have paid vacation time

Paid Personal days are earned by Full-time employees (25 hours/week)

All our staff are employees, so we take care of all tax forms etc.

Optional participation in the MERIT Roth IRA program administered by the State of Maine.

All our employees have free access to licensed counselors any time of the day or night, 7days a week, 365 days a year.  Councilors provide assistance with a wide range of personal challenges.
