Overview
Responsibilities
· Maintain client appointment booking logs and arrive on-time when scheduled to provide services.
· Use active listening to correctly assess client needs and determine how best to apply customized therapeutic techniques to fulfill their requests.
· Develop and manage client relationships to ensure complete service satisfaction and to motivate continued use of the offered massage therapy services.
· Discuss healthy-living practices with clients while making suggestions on how to improve their overall physical and emotional wellness within a structure that fits their needs.
· Ensure that all client paperwork is completed appropriately and accurately
Skills
· Current, active, and unencumbered Maryland licensure as a proven Massage Therapist (1+ years preferred).
· Excellent, demonstrated knowledge of various massage techniques, pain relief and healthy-living principles.
· Working knowledge of physical training exercises and safety procedures for massage therapists (e.g. CPR and basic first aid).
Job Types
· Full-time and part-time with a negotiable hourly rate and included mileage for use of a personally-owned vehicle.
