Seeking Independent Contractors interested in learning to operate their own business in the future. Earning between 40% to 60% commission and incentives for performing massage, customer service and product sales. Training in December 2020 – Start Date: January 2nd, 2021
Qualifications/Requirements:
Performs professional quality massage, within scope of practice and licensing (as applicable).
Designs specific sessions based on members or guests individual needs.
Assists in the promotion of the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy on a regular basis.
Creates excellent member/guest experience through friendly and helpful attitude.
Performs hot stone, deep muscle, or prenatal therapy, based on appropriate training and minimum clinic education hours.
Utilizes other approved modalities, in accordance with applicable law.
Communicates various promotions to clients.
Follows all practice policies and protocols.
Assists in the cleanliness of the location (therapy rooms and common areas).
Completes Wellness Chart documentation accurately and completely.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Colorado massage license – active and in good standing.
Body work insurance including Ilaria LLC. coverage.
Minimum 1 year working experience in a spa/chiropractor office/medical clinic.
Customer Service skills; taking payments; rescheduling clients
All therapists will work as an Independent Contractors on an employment contract. You are not an employee of Ilaria Salon and Medical Spa and will receive a 1099 miscellaneous income form for tax purposes.
A 1099 contractor is a person who works independently rather than for an employer. There are significant differences in the legalities of a contractor and employee. While the work can be similar in nature, it is important to follow the law with regard to taxes, payments, etc.
As an Independent Contractor, you are trained to essentially own and operate your own business. We will book appointments and market your skills however; it is your opportunity to conduct yourself in a way in which you are truly responsible for your own financial freedom.
MUST be able to work on own without supervision. Including opening and closing procedures.
Ability to learn new modalities, work within the capacity of supervisor/leader of your own schedule.
