You will be introduced to reflex points that can improve flexibility and muscle function, in particular, improved core function and breathing. You will also learn assisted stretching techniques for increased flexibility. Active assisted stretching utilizes active movement from the client with a gentle assist from the therapist for increased flexibility and blood flow to the tissues. Active (dynamic) stretching often gives longer lasting results. We will also touch on neuro-developmental movements for self- stretching that can help improve function and reduce muscle stiffness.
