Fluid Dynamics: a practical exploration of the lymphatic system
October 14, 2017 @ 9:00 am - October 15, 2017 @ 5:00 pm
$180.00The human body is somewhere between 55 to 70% fluid, depending on many factors – age, gender, and activity level. Massage Therapists focus on ways to facilitate the body to become more fluid – more flexible and less painful, improving free movement and discouraging stagnancy. Whether you have had an introduction to the lymphatic system and fluid systems in massage school, or have completed significant continuing education, you don’t want to miss this opportunity to learn more. The latest research, overview and facilitated review of existing information, as well as practical implementation of hands on techniques working within the fluid paradigm are at the core of this class.
Also – an in depth discussion and exploration of inflammation, hydration, and scope of practice for massage therapists will be encouraged!
This course is open to all licensed massage therapists.
